Thank you Marie-Paul! I think she is pretty cute too :-)

We are all doing really well. Motherhood is amazing, even better than I could have imagined. I am lucky enough to work from home so I get to be with her all the time. 

Thank you for all of your help preparing me for the birth of Elisa, I am so glad to have been able to fully experience that amazing event.

Also, we ended up taking your advice about co-sleeping. It has been absolutely wonderful. She is now 1 1/2 and sleeping most of the night in her room, but she stayed with us up until a few weeks ago. It made "sleeping issues" all but disappear, not to mention the incredible bonding.

That is fine with me if you want to use that on your website! We are grateful for the guidance.

Funny, we weren't even planning to co-sleep. But then, the day she was born, I couldn't imagine putting the most precious thing in my life away from me, let alone in another room. Then the benefits of nighttime nursing were priceless (I was actually able to sleep!). It truly felt natural and right.
